Lori is the Director of Communications for the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance, where she helps translate complex public sector work into clear, engaging messages that connect with Missouri citizens and industry partners.  With more than 23 years of experience leading communications in higher education and government, Lori specializes in integrated storytelling, building trust through audience-focused strategies, and breaking down silos to deliver cohesive, impactful communications.  She is also Chair of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Public Affairs and Government Executive Committee and a published children’s book author.
